When a property moves into rental operations, the recordkeeping changes. Sahamo helps you keep its continuing identity while distinguishing setup work, recurring activity and cash movements that need separate support.
One property, identifiable activity
Use the property and entity references agreed with your accountant. Match supplier records and bank activity to those references, and document the basis for allocating a shared charge. We do not divide costs between properties simply to make a report look balanced.
Follow short-term rental receipts
A platform payout may combine several stays and include fees or adjustments. We use available listing-level reports and payout references to explain the receipt that reached the bank, keeping unresolved differences visible. Airbnb provides listing and payout reporting; the fields available in your own account must be checked before scoping the work.
Work with your existing reports
If a property manager supplies AppFolio owner statements, we can use the authorized records as part of the agreed owner-bookkeeping workflow. Owner distributions, property operating results and management-company activity are different records; they should not be treated as interchangeable.
A recurring handoff
- Reconciled accounts and agreed property schedules.
- Payout or owner-statement support where relevant.
- Questions requiring documents or your accountant’s decision.
- A repeatable record collection routine.
