One property may have a purchase, several funding movements, contractor invoices and a change of strategy before it produces its first receipt. Sahamo builds a record trail that connects that activity to the correct property and business entity.
Start with the boundaries
We agree the entity, property identifier, accounts and reporting period. Then we identify the source of each opening balance and the records available to support activity during the project. A property address alone is not enough when more than one entity or ownership interest is involved.
What the engagement can include
- A consistent property and deal reference across the agreed records.
- Organization of purchase, renovation, holding and operating activity.
- Bank and credit-card reconciliation for the accounts in scope.
- A record of owner funding and transfers for accountant review.
- A project summary with supporting schedules and unresolved items.
Give your accountant a supported handoff
We make it possible to trace a summary back to the records behind it. Your accountant determines tax treatment and accounting policies. A project spending schedule is not, by itself, a taxable-profit calculation or a valuation.
A defined finish line
The deliverable might be a reconciled historical period, an organized sale file or the transition into recurring rental bookkeeping. We agree what completion means, including how missing documents will be reported.
